"Clean, convenient, friendly staff"
This was my second time in the Hampshire Hotel - Savoy Rotterdam. I had the basic room and I was afraid that it would be very noisy since it was next to the elevator - the truth is - I slept like a baby both nights. The front desk staff is extremely courteous and helpful! If I am again in Rotterdam, I will definitely choose this hotel again.

"Central Rotterdam"
If you book here always make sure to go for standard or above as basic rooms are smaller, breakfasts are extra. Very convenient for access to central Rotterdam and restaurants nearby. Train station is close by

"Almost a "five""
This is one of the best hotels in Rotterdam, in our opinion. (Well, you just can't compare with Pincoffs where we have stayed previous, but that is totally in another price branch...) Hampshire Savoy is great for a short, or long, stay. The staff (in lobby,in breakfast room and cleaning personel) are ever so polite, helpful, and seems to really enjoy their position. Thank You all, You are the best! The location is perfect. Just in the center, but still with a calm feeling. In a few minutes walk, you will reach th Cubic House, a Metro Station, Tram station, a lot of shops and good restaurants, and everything you can ask for. We really liked to stay here. We booked a room with a balcony, as I am one of those endangered species called "smokers", so I did not want to take the lift down to ground floor every time I felt for a cigarette. Great room, top floor, comfy bed, great pillows, no noice, but... Here comes the reason for giving a four instead of a five: The bathroom...! I am a quite tiny and slim Swede, and even I had big problems to squeeese into the shower area in our bathroom. But we have never seen such a small bathroom anywhere before. An ordinary sized American could not even make it to the loo, less into the shower, in this room. But it was, for us, a laughing experience. "For freaking sake, how should I turn around in here without open the shower door? I just can not do it!" To sum it up, we love this hotel. But make sure to book a room with a larger bathroom if you want to avoid the feeling of the shower scene in "Psycho". Especially if your partner want to take a pee while you are in the shower... We can for sure recommend Hampshire/Savoy, and we will for sure stay here again. Thanks to all in the staff, You are great!

"Great location- lovely, calm street, close to Blaak station"
We stayed at The Savoy for two nights. Did not opt for the breakfast as the hotel is close to so many great cafes and restaurants. The location is amazing in terms of sightseeing, and everything worth seeing is pretty much walking distance.

"very nice hotel downtown :)"
Hotel close to subway/trams and a lot of restaurants. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very clean and quiet area. I highly recommend this hotel, when I come back to Rotterdam I will definitely choose this hotel :)

Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen is a multifaceted museum. Its collection covers a broad range and spans the period from late medieval to contemporary. This exceptional collection includes masterworks by Rubens, Rembrandt, Van Gogh, Magritte and Dalí. Kunsthal Rotterdam is a pleasing exhibition centre in which some 25 different exhibitions are held every year, from old art to new art, and from photography to design. You could spend a whole weekend in the Museum Quarter. The Kunsthal most definitely merits a visit. Yet another drawing card is the Maritime Museum and the Wereldmuseum Rotterdam.

On the water

There’s simply no way of getting around the harbours and the water. The perfect way to view the harbours is from one of Spido’s excursion boats, or with one of Splashtours’ spectacular amphibian buses. With around 50 landing stages in Rotterdam and the surrounding area, Watertaxi Rotterdam is the fast and reliable way of getting about by water. Moreover, a ride by water taxi is a spectacular experience for anyone wanting to experience Rotterdam from the river.
